This Year:
- Our 2011 garden season started with the GBG Plant Sale May 21 (on the 20th for volunteers/members).
- Planning has begun for the summer fundraiser. Watch for flyers and publicity news about the Victorian Tea Party Fundraiser scheduled for June 26, 2011.

GBGSociety.org goes live!
We still have work to do, but March 31, 2008 the site went live on the web. - Committees Meeting
Garden Tea Committee, Garden Faire Committee, Publicity Committee
These three main committees have been meeting and working hard. On each committee, there has been a careful breakdown of duties among the members so that no one person is tasked with too much work. Through it all, a handbook is being compiled of the work this year, so next year, if the same events are staged, a lot of the planning will already be done. - Society Organization

The first meeting of the society was October 25, 2007 at University Baptist Church's Fellowship Hall. By-laws were approved and officers elected.
