Garden Faire (X/XX/2009)

Another fundraiser for the Drew Amphitheater, the Faire will provide both educational opportunities and the chance to purchase artwork and crafts from local vendors.
A quilt show and an art show will add to the fun of this Saturday garden event. Children's activities will be provided.

Vendors will be selling their art and crafts from 11 am to 7pm.
Quilt and Art shows from 11 am to 7pm
Family activities 11 am – 4pm
Entry cost: $5 adults, $3 ages 7-17, under 6 free.

Vendors Needed!

All artists are encouraged to participate and share their works (garden theme –flowers, birds, vegetables, etc.)

We’re looking for educational participants willing to demonstrate their craft, option to sell finished products or project supplies:

Fiber Artist(s) for dyeing natural fibers,
Doll Maker(s) to create simple garden folks
Potter(s) to work with clay
Quilter(s) to do floral appliqué or other garden related project(s)
Painters, metal smiths and woodworkers to share their talents as well
Any other ideas are welcome - we are also doing nature crafts and need volunteers!
There will be limited retail space available in the garden. Bring your own tent,(limited tables and chairs will be available) – spaces are $50 BUT if you are a demonstrator, your booth space is reduced (and you may still sell your finished products in your space as well). All items must be quality Alaska made.
